Physical Training Resources (PT) 


This page provides resources from CAP and the Air Force regarding physical fitness standards and the proper way to execute PT excersises.

Squadron 85 performs PT the third Thursday of the month. PT takes place behind the Veterans Memorial Hall on the Fairgrounds. 

The uniform is typically shorts and the squadron t-shirt. During winter months, sweatpants and sweatshirts are recommended. Specific requirements are defined in the SOP.

PT consists of:

  • Stretching
  • Push-ups for one minute
  • Sit-ups for one minute
  • A one mile run
  • A shuttle run
The standards for passing PT are age based and defined in the CAP Fitness Program linked below.
